Perfectly Unperfect Wife, Mother, and Human Being
how do i do it all? i don’t do it all, all the time. life is about choices and sometimes were really hitting all corners and other times were just doing good to keep everyone fed.
I am a work at home mom to 4 amazingly crazy wildlings. im on a journey to help my family get out of debt, and to share our journey with others.
I am more than a title. I wear many hats and hold many titles in our home, and they mostly work together very well. I am homemaker, laundry attendant, meal planner and chef, i am teacher and guidance counselor, i am event planner, secretary, i am scheduler, i am accountant, i am confidant and advice giver. I am mother and wife.
I love traveling and it is a passion shared by my husband and now our children. we are avid outdoorsmen, with a particular fondness for camping and canoeing. We are raising wildlings to love, value, treasure, and understand the importance of the natural world.
i am a GIANT nerd and completely and utterly obsessed with books. I love old bookstores, that particular musky smell coming off of the shelves. All the emotions the pages have seen. The joy, despair, love and heartache. I love walking down the rows and running my hands down the well worn spines and picking that one (or several) special book i will take home to dive into!
as a mother to 4 active and growing children food is basically the hottest topic in our home. Whats for dinner? Immmmm hoonnnngggrryyyyy, can i have a snack? i have to navigate grocery budget and kids appetites, while also trying to make sure hubs and myself enjoy our meals. And when we travel…this is where we splurge on food…. hubs is a foodie and a magnificent chef. when we go out to eat hes not eating anyplace or thing that he can make better!
My husband and i have recently set out on our debt reduction journey. We have a plan to be debt free by 2023. we also want to enjoy life so we have budgeted in some fun along the way.
Every year we are faced with the same dilemma and as our kids get older it becomes more difficult to answer. We have all heard the stories of a child who invites kids to his party and no one shows up. The child is devastated, the parents hearts break for their child, and society shames… Read more

Day one went well! Genesis 1:1-2 diving deeper into the meanings of the original words has definitely given me a deeper insight into the true depth of the words. Just reading them like I have many times before I didn’t fully (and I’m sure still haven’t) grasp some of the information. Reading in translation you… Read more

Let me start out by saying there is a Spiritual Revival brewing. I think you can feel the static rising. A revival the likes our generation has never seen before. As a society we have been straying further and further from the word of God. First its small things that slowly become more and more… Read more
